PUBG Mobile : New Arctic Mode

PUBG Mobile : New Arctic Mode

The new Arctic Mode went live on April 16. You can find this mode in PlayLab sub-menu. This mode is based on Vikendi map. So, make sure you've downloaded Vikendi map.

Difference between : Classic Vikendi & Arctic Mode

Player will usually notice 2 or 3 blizzards during the course of an entire match, which lasts for few minutes.

You need to keep your body warm or else your HP will fall. To survive in this mode you need to know about new items available in this map like drone, branches, meat, heater, heatpack, snowboard(Players don't need to find it, as it will be with you from the beginning of the game and it is great for going downhill).

All you need to know about new items :-

1. Drone - You can loot drone just like other items and can be used to scout & detect enemies. Initial drone's health is 1000. It's health will fall if enemies shoots on it and will explode at the end. Initial fuel power of drone is around 300, you need to scout and detect enemies before it reaches zero.

2. Branches - Collect branches and burn them to maintain your body temperature. Add branches and keep the fire going to stay warm. Maintain your body temperature to protect yourself from hypothermia. Be careful because others can track your position.

3. Heatpack - Heatpack is one of the best option to maintain body temperature. It will not let your temperature fall down for 30 seconds. Use multiple heatpack and survive blizzards easily.

4. Meat - Players can hunt cock and burn bushes. Cook your tasty chicken and eat it to warm yourself.

5. Heater - Heater can be used to maintain warmth within a small area. Again a better alternative, as already discussed fire can help enemies to track you down.
