This is no hoax. 39 Wives 94 Children 33 Grandchildren all belong to one man. Yes, this man and this family exist in our very own country, India. Gaining the title of the world's biggest family in the world. This family lives in Baktwang village in the Indian state of Mizoram. They live in a 100-room, four storey house set amidst the hills of Baktwang village making its biggest concrete structure in the hilly area.
This man is Ziona Chana. He has a total of 181 family members with 14 daughters in law. He says he is blessed by God to have 39 wives. His family has fitted with almost military discipline no one defies his orders, with his oldest wife Zathiangi directing her fellow partners, his other wives to perform household chores such as cleaning, washing, and preparing meals, looking after children and all other works too.
Ziona, now age 73, is the head of a local Christian religious sect "Chana", which has allowed polygamy and was established by his father Chana on June 12, 1942. They believe they will soon rule the world with Christ and who has a membership of around 400 families. Well, Dreaming is good. Producing kids is not producing an army when will the world learn. Anything against the government will prove fatal.
The Chana family in spite of having so many family members is not so rich, the ladies do the ordinary household work daily whereas men are involved in livestock rearing, agriculture, small cottage industries of wood furniture (carpentry), aluminum utensil making, and so forth. So they basically grow their own food, not having to buy from outside but for income sell outside. Chana has constructed schools, with government circular with adding there own Chana sect theory. He does not seek any assistance from the government.
Ziona is still interested in having more wives. Imagine calling this family for wedding party! and No wonder why NRC is needed!!
