Country first TVS bike launch running from ethanol
TVS Motor has removed the curtain from the country's first bike with Ethanol on Friday. This bike has been launched in the market by the name of TVS Apache RTF 200 Fi E100. The company has kept the price of this bike running from ethanol to 1.20 lakh rupees. These bikes will now be sold in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka.
On the spot, TVS Motor said that this bike will run entirely with ethanol. This will reduce the pollution caused by gasoline compounds in the compartment.
TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 Features & Design-
1. Talk about the body of Apache RTR 200 FI bike, it has green graphics and ethanol logo.
2. This bike has been given a 197.75 cc engine with Regular Apache RTR 200. This engine generates power of 21 bhp and 18.1 nm torque.
3. The RTR 200 engine has been specially designed to use ethanol through the EFI system.
4. The top speed of Apache RTR 200Fi Bike is 129 kilometers per hour.
5. This bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
6. Talking about the features of this bike, it has a digital instrument panel, with information like bike speed, odometer, trip meter, lap timer and gear position.
7. Disc brakes have been given on both sides of the bike and rear. It is equipped with Apache single channel ABS.
What is ethanol
Ethanol is made from sugar fermentation process and is non-toxic. Ethanol does less pollution than gasoline. Athlon emits 35% less carbon than gasoline. Along with this, there is less emission of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. For these reasons, ethanol is better suited for environmentally friendly gasoline.
