A- Pillar creates a blind spot for the car driver.

See the cyclist in the above picture. He thinks car driver would see him coming but he is unaware that he is not even visible to car driver.

Most of the times, cyclist and car driver get synchronized and tuned into an accident.

What you should do ?

1. When you see a T-junction, right turn or left turn approaching, be aware of A-pillar blind spot.
2. Slow down your vehicle
3. Move your head forward and backward to check any vehicle approaching
4. After double verification both left and right, you can decide to stop or move.
