Trump's speech in motera stadium is very fine, deliberate and subtle in many ways. I just want to point out some of the major takeaways from his speech.

1. First part of his speech is just showing his skills of presenting his knowledge about our culture, values, sports and history. He takes the name of Swami Vivekanand, Sardar Patel, Mahatma Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar and even Virat Kohli which shows he is well aware of taste and choice of Indian people. This is an important part of diplomacy.
2. He includes the childhood and achievement of Mr. Narendra Modi and connecting it to the matter of opportunity is the way of trump to tell that India is the land of opportunity.
3. Now, helicopter deal is going be signed tommorow in Delhi is one of the major takeaways from this visit of trump.
4. I have to admit that Trump is very smart in monkey balancing as he deliberately helds Pakistan accountable for the terrorism in India and then cover it by saying Pakistan is very good friend of USA. He basically gives both the party what they want to hear and USA has very tough time on negotiating with Taliban and they got burn out in Afghanistan so they need Pakistan in their corner.
5. Now, coming to the strategic partnership of Indo-pacific region, Trump opens his gate for the sale of some of the premier and advanced weapons to the India because they want to capture the defence market of India and the data is showing that India was inclining towards the US weapon system untill S-400 deal is done with Russia besides the threat of sanctions. This step is very important for India to show the world that even India and US are partners but we respect our old friend and don't form the new partnership on the cost of old ones.
6. Trump gives hint to India to play a larger role in this region. US is not doing this as a charity but they are doing this because now they are well aware of the fact that US can not handle the China alone. So, they want to make a strong partnership of India, Japan and America to contain china.
7. A month before the visit of Trump, trade deal buzz is on its peak but it is not going to be signed on this visit because both the nation is rigid to fulfill their interest. So, meetings will be held during this visit to sort out the issues of trade deal.
8. US is very impressed by the performance of ISRO and they see us as a serious contender in space industry as we are making big strides in this area. So, Trump discussed the achievements of ISRO and in coming future we can see a big deal between NASA and ISRO.

Opinion:

Don't get mesmerized by the words of trump and don't go into the dilusion by assuming US as a good friend of ours. Everyone is out there for their own interests. India has to walk on a very tight rope with US so that our relationship with Russia do not take the hit. US will surely want to do this in coming future as they tried in past during S-400 deal.
