From what I have perceived since a long time , PM Narendra Modi has got a tight security which was befitting for a person of his status and the power he commands. Guarded by those who are often touted as India’s own “Men in Black” known as Special Protection Group they form the inner circle of PM’s security.

Armed with a plethora of Belgian-made FN Herstal weapons like FN P90 Personal Defense Weapon , F2000 Assalt Rifle , SCAR-H Battle Rifle and FN Five-Seven Sidearm they have to move with every step Modi takes to ensure his complete security and ensure any threat neutralization.

NaMo has been known to break many well-established protocols many times and this sometimes panics even the SPG Operatives as well as they are sometimes ill-prepared for such a situation though with such incidents , they brace up for such eventualities.

Composed of CAPF personnel , they form the inner cordon for PM in their trade-mark safari suits with communication sets and sunglasses ever vigil to track and defeat any threat. Luckily under their cover , there has been no such deathly attacks on PM Convoy or Prime Minister himself which speaks volumes of professionalism of this organisation.

In the Air India One , which is the call-sign of the aircraft carrying PM/President operated by Air Headquarters Communication Squadron of IAF , SPG handles the PM security thanks to the intrusion detection system (IDS) onboard which ensures that the system is hack-free and it can also detect any suspicious pattern indicating towards a system compromise or someone trying to break-into.

On ground , a massive network of CCTV Camera and other assets take care of the PM Security by taking care of any visible threat. Snipers take care of strategic points as soon as the security arrangements are started for the PM to arrive. This ensures that NaMo’s security remain fool-proof and perfect at its best.

Special Protection Group is the hall-mark for Indian Close Protection Tactics and Development which started ever since 1980s when 4 Vikas and 9 Para SF provided inner security to Prime Minister at that time. Tactics developed at that time were quite unique in Indian subcontinent which were then adopted by Special Protection Group to perform effectively and without any obstacles.
