This all started Sunday midnight where a group of around 500 women started their sit-in protest under the Jaffrabad metro station.
Is Jafrabad becoming a new Shaheen Bagh?
Things started to go out of the hands when Kapil Mishra’s (BJP Leader) involvement was seen which was supported by locals who were already fed up by the Shaheen Bagh and these protesters were making one more lock-down of Delhi road.
Kapil Mishra tweeted: "Today at 3 pm - in response to Jaffrabad. In front of Jaffrabad. At red light of Maujpur chowk. In support of CAA. We will hit the road. You are all invited,"
Following which hundreds of locals stood by his side. People across Delhi started to join the CAA-support protests.
Reportedly, anti-CAA supporters started to pelt stones towards the pro-CAA supporters resulting retaliatory stone pelting towards anti-CAA protesters. Which resulted in Delhi Police firing tear gas cannons to control the situation. Media reporters were heard saying “stones are being pelt from houses across the road”.
On the parallel with their solidarity, violence was seen in Aligarh as well. With internet suspended in the area.
They will block the roads!
They will pelt stones at whoever opposes them!
From within their homes to - outside our temples!
