The center tried to sell Air India BJP government

The Center is about to sell 5 percent of Air India's debt-burdened debt. For this, they today issued the preliminary tender regarding the auction. Interested candidates must submit the expression of interest by March 7th. The names of successful applicants will be announced on March 7.

The center tried to sell Air India
shares for the second time in less than two years. Apart from AISATS, Air India is in the hands of Air India Engineering Services, Air India Air Transport Services, Airline Allied Services, and in 25 the central government proposed to dissolve 5 percent stake in Air India, and also wants to take control of the management of the company. But then the main flight company of the country did not attract any interested buyers.
